In October 2014 the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), UWI, will bring to you a 2-day conference and workshop on digital game development. The event aims to launch a game design and development subsector in Jamaica and to initiate a network of game development for various practitioners and researchers.

The conference is open to the public. We specially invite youth, education specialists, investors and information technology professionals.



Workshop on Day 2


Important Information for Conference Participants:
Day 2, October 15, 2014, will consist of an all day workshop for persons interested in receiving an introduction to game development. All participants will need to carry their own device (laptops/netbook) to participate in the workshop on Day 2. The workshop will utilise the software: Scratch and Stencyl. Participants will need to download the software ahead of time.
